Inspector Gadget Character Designs

These are some of the many character designs that I created for the original 1983 Inspector Gadget television series. I was responsible for designing the main M.A.D. Agents as well as the guest M.A.D. Agent for each episode. I also designed secondary characters as well as friends that Penny may have made, costumes that Brain wore while trailing Gadget and the disguises that Quimby was in when delivering the mission to Gadget. I also designed a few of the various M.A.D. machines such as the Loch Ness Monster and the M.A.D. Sub. All animals that appeared were also my designs. I worked on 60 of the 64 episodes. Each episode had a 3 day schedule. I started on Jan 3 1983 and finished on June 20th 1983... completely exhausted and creatively drained.
