Indigenous Dental Association of Canada Shorts

Here is some of the artwork used in the 4 dental shorts. Each part was around 1 min 30 seconds long. The entire series follows a young girl named Joyce and her Kookum (Grandmother) as she grows up with dental issues. Joyce eventually becomes a dentist herself and helps her Kookum with her dental needs.

Produced by the Indigenous Dental Association of Canada in 2024 it was translated into French, Cree, and Atikamekw language versions with lip sync to match each language.

I did everything on the production from character design through, storyboarding, layout, backgrounds, animation, colorization, editing and final video output. The entire production took 8 months from beginning to end.
