Bitmoji TV

Bitmoji TV was released publicly on Feb 1st 2020 on the SnapChat app. It had over 6,9 million views in the first day. The show features your Bitmoji character in an animated cartoon about 5 minutes long along with a celebrity guest star each week. I was the Storyboard Supervisor for the shows. My responsibilities included roughing out the boards for each show and then assisting in the clean-up along with two other storyboard clean up artists. There are 10 shows total and I started on show 2 in Feb 2019. My part of the project lasted until mid-Sept 2019.

I'll upload some of the artwork that I did for each show, each week after the show debuts.

Bitmoji TV is a new cartoon series on SnapChat that stars you and a friend in each episode.

Using your cellphone, go onto your SnapChat account and "snap" this code. You will then be able to access the cartoon episode each week on Saturday morning.

I made a sculpture of the Cyber Donker out of Sculpy for the designers to work off. The final version was a bit more lanky.

This show was huge! as far as the number of panels that were drawn. You can see my notes indicating extra panels that needed to be drawn to fully describe the action.

We essentially key posed all the action that was taking place in each scene: start pose, anticipation action, reaction and recovery for all the movements - way more than you would do on a normal show.

Ep 2 Spy Squad This was the first episode that I did the boards on.

Mime Cops was the very first show I worked on. I didn't have any designs to work with which is why the characters are all generic "oval heads".

Ep 4 Demon Bear

These were the original rough boards for Section 5 of Demon Bear. In the script it called for the bear to be placed under the covers with the girl. After doing this version, I raised the issue that it was kinda creepy for the bear to be under the covers

It would be especially creepy if the avatar was a male. I did two more variations with the bear sitting on the bed and one sitting on a chair beside the bed.

Here's the third version where the bear is place in a chair beside the bed. I placed my avatar in the bear to show how it would look.
